Highgate Cricket is a great way for aspiring young cricketers to develop their skills in a fun and friendly environment, surrounded by trees in a beautiful and charming setting. Highgate runs a fantastic colts cricket section competing in Middlesex Cricket competitions with dedicated training on Sunday mornings (u12 and below) and Friday evenings (u13 and above).

We are now recruiting and have a programme of cricket designed for all ages, all our programmes are designed to be welcoming for youngsters and work with parents and children to ‘Get the Game On’. We have dedicated ECB approved coaches that ensure our colts get the best training.

Highgate also run summer camps for cricket, tennis and other sports and also offer a combined cricket and tennis membership for colts.

If you and your child (girls and boys welcome) would like to get involved, We are always keen to hear from potential new players. Please drop us a line at highgatecolts@gmail.com to find out about the next available taster session.

Footwear: Footwear is important and during matches, proper cricket spikes should be worn, they offer good protection for feet. For artificial surfaces a good pair of trainers should be worn.

Protective Gear: In order to play hard ball cricket, all children must have protective gear, this includes, Pads, Box, gloves, and a helmet.

Bat: A decent bat that is appropriate for the child, will help the child develop, A bat that is too heavy or too big, will hinder performance.

Please note that all kit should be in good condition for safety reasons, especially helmets. Please see the following information published by the ECB with regard to helmets and safety in general. ECB Helmet Guide

Highgate training gear and whites are available from the club shop
